Driven Grout Pile
Our exclusive patented pile has already received vast approval in the deep foundation marketplace. It offers many advantages over conventional pile driving methods.
-
It produces no spoils, greatly reducing cost and clean up time, which is very significant in contaminated soils.
-
Since it is a driven pile, it gives the blow count assurance of a driven pile, yet vibration and noise are greatly reduced.
-
Being a concrete pile, it is resistant to corrosive conditions. There is very little material wasted as opposed to an augercast pile.
-
The Driven Grout pile is one of the least expensive forms of foundation piling. A 14" diameter Driven Grout pile, under the right soil conditions, often exceeds the load carrying capacity of steel or augercast pile of greater dimensions.

Augercast Pile
Augercast pile is probably the most common type of foundation piling. We have, over the years, improved our techniques and our auguring equipment to provide a fast, accurate and dependable pile that helps insure an efficient installation with minimal waste.
We have augers to accommodate sizes from 12" diameter and up. Grout pumps are calibrated and routinely maintained to minimize down time and provide accurate "grout takes". To help reduce any chance of lost production or schedule failure, our company policy is to have back-up equipment and parts on every job.
Steel Pile
Steel pile is used for heavy construction pipe, HP, wide flange, solider/shoring piles where designated. When working with these materials, cost is of the utmost concern. Wasted materials can push a project over budget, and poor planning or soil conditions can have a project end in disaster—unless the contractor is knowledgeable and experienced, as years have proven with DeWitt Construction.
DeWitt is proud of our record of repeatedly preventing such tragedy through the awareness and professionalism of our crews, foremen, and project managers. We also have some of the best and well-maintained cranes, pile driving hammers, leads, and compressors in the Pacific Northwest.
